I think that definitely connects back to me hearing Hendrix for the first time because I had that experience of hearing that music for the first time and it really touching something deep inside me, and then when I started to talk, to other people who were into music, about it I kind of quickly understood that what it touched if me was different than what it touched in them. And what was getting touched in me was that something about the way that that music unfolded and told its story, made me feel very at peace with myself. When I was in the sort-of world that that music created, I felt ok about who I was and who I was made sense. And I think that if I was to analyze that, I think that to some degree that Jimi Hendrix's music has a very high degree of abstraction because of its use of really complex timbral compositional devices, and you know a number of other things. So that in that plain of abstraction that that music created I was able to experience fluidity around gender that was more consistent with what my experience was. I definitely think that that's a big part of the music that I’ve created is to try to use sound as a way of creating a landscape. And so making music I think, for me was a way to stay in that landscape.
